Every Friday during Lent at 7:00 P.M. in the church, we will celebrate the Stations of the Cross. This beautiful devotion enables those who pray in this way to re-live the 14 stations (events) in Jesus’ life as He went through His Passion for the salvation of the world. They help to contemplate, and thus enter into, the Pascal Mystery and can greatly enrich our Lenten spiritual practice. The Stations will be followed each Friday by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, except on Good Friday when it will be followed by a Taizé prayer service on the “Last Words of Christ”
And before the Stations each Friday at 6:00 P.M. in the Mother’s Chapel (aka the “crying room”), the Secular Franciscans will offer an opportunity to pray Evening Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours.
Our golf tournament to benefit the good work of our parish will be on Friday, May 15 at Apple Greens Golf Course in Highland. More details to come soon, but please save the date. You won’t want to miss this!
