Lectio Divina (sacred reading) is a form of prayer that involves reading a Scripture passage four times with brief periods of reflection and meditation between each reading. This form of prayer opens our minds and hearts to the personal message of the Scripture- the meaning or message that the passage has for me personally. The Scriptures are the Word of God, and God speaks to us through the Scriptures...speaks to us personally!
